Kara Smith

I am the Veterinary Assistant Team Lead.  I enjoy working with animals, learning new things, and improving health in our local community.  Dogwood has an excellent team-oriented environment and a passion for improving the veterinary industry.  I have volunteered with the humane society for 5 years combined with my previous experience and other hospitals before starting here. I enjoy reading, drawing, and trying new restaurants.  I have a Catahoula named Archer, tortoiseshell cat named Tipsy, and a Catahoula mix named Roxanne.
